The Glorious Revolution

I finally got it. The classic PC movement from the eighties. The woke wonks today. Self-righteously named Antifa. The sterling causes invigorating hypocritical BLM people who wouldn’t let one date his daughter. The trophy case causes used to virtue signal and browbeat the unenlightened, but not to be resolved. They’re all church ladies clucking at each other about whose potato salad is the best and who is the better Christian.

It all hearkens back to the first Neanderthal busy body who pecked at the first neighbor in the cave next door about the sorry state of his leopard toga. Instead of social tit for tats and public humiliation, today people are ostracized, their lives ruined. No real change happens because that would require work, and humility, and cooperation. And above all, talking to each other.

But there’s a catch. Karma never sleeps. To quote Doctor Who; “So, let me ask you a question about this brave new world of yours. When you’ve killed all the bad guys, and when it’s all perfect and just and fair. When you have finally got it exactly the way you want it, what are you going to do with the people like you? The troublemakers. How are you going to protect your glorious revolution from the next one?”
